Hazret Sultan Mosque

July 6, 2012 in a festive atmosphere of Astana Day, and that was very symbolic on Friday, Hazret Sultan Mosque opened its doors to worshipers. The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev was the first one who entered the Mosque.

Located in the administrative center of the city, Hazret Sultan Mosque is designed for 5000 prayers, and during the Muslim festivals it can accommodate up to 10 thousand prayers. The Mosque meets all requirements of the modern world architecture. Its unrivaled interior, decoration and architecture is so strikingly different from other existing projects globally. A huge group of architects, designers, planners worked on the realization of this idea, putting the project into a reality.

The whole world knows that there are all religions living in Kazakhstan and we hold The Congress of the World's Traditional Religions, you know it well. Therefore, today's holiday is a holiday of all Kazakhs. I congratulate you on the opening of the largest Mosque called Hazret Sultan ", - concluded the President.
